Neither of them shot very well (Perkins: 2-7; Jefferson: 3-10), but Perkins played 33 minutes and blocked 5 shots, and Jefferson got himself 11 rebounds in only 24 minutes (but 5 fouls, or he might have played more). Nice.
Oh, and the Celtics won. Here's the boxscore.

Watching the last three quarters from home it seemed there were two keys to this game.
First, Doc made the decision to double-team Chris Paul on every possession. Last time they played Paul tore up the Celtics defense. Last night he still got into the lane whenever he wanted but the constant help defenders gave him lots of trouble.
Second, the Hornets already had one foot on the plane home. Their defense was half-hearted; they stood around away from the ball; the C's made something like 70% of the hustle plays up until the end of the 3rd when it became a laugher.
Marcus Banks is doing whatever he can to keep himself firmly in the doghouse. I haven't seen such awful garbage time play in a while. Finally, it sure looked to me like Doc asked Mark Blount to go into the game with 5 minutes left and he refused. Perk was sent in instead, but no one on the bench looked too pleased about it.
